    1.5 L capacity | Filters Water | Eco-Friendly

Tap water is slowly harming your houseplants. Pearl Roots filters, purifies, and remineralizes every drop, so your plants finally get the clean, mineral-rich water they were designed to drink.

    How it works

Filling the Pearl Roots watering can at a tap

Fill the top reservoir at any tap, cold water. It filters down into the can below; two fills gives you the full 1.5 L.

Pour. The water in the can has already been filtered and remineralized, so what reaches the soil is clean.

Swap the filter pack about every 3 months. It twists out and the new one twists in.

What tap water does to houseplants

City water is treated to be safe for people, not for plants. Chlorine and chloramine stress fine roots. Fluoride and dissolved salts travel to the ends of the leaf and collect there, which is why the damage shows up as brown tips and crisp edges while the rest of the leaf looks fine.

Spider plants, peace lilies, dracaenas, calatheas, palms, orchids and ferns show it first. Letting water sit overnight removes chlorine only. It does nothing for chloramine or fluoride.
